ROAR

“Embrace your individuality. Love what you love without worrying about the judgment.”

In life, we’re always going to have critics. We’ll always have difficult people who try to upset us and steal our peace and joy. But, you don’t have to respond to every critic. You can decide to take the high road and let God fight your battles for you.

Sometimes, no matter what you say or do, some people aren’t going to accept you. They just don’t want to be at peace with you. In fact, when Jesus sent out His disciples to certain homes, He told them to always speak peace over those homes. And then He said in effect, “If they don’t receive the peace that you’re offering, then it will come back to you.” That tells me that if you will do your best to be at peace with people, even if they won’t take your peace, that peace will just come back to you. You’ll not only get your peace, but you’ll get their share as well! That’s double for your trouble! When you do the right thing no matter what is happening, God sees it and rewards it.

“The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest.” (Exodus 14:14, AMP)

SUMMER TO REMEMBER

After graduation I asked my parents if I could have a loooong summer vacation because I just wanted to grab some rest after stressing myself in school lol Actually I just want to sleep all day, go out with family and friends, and watch movies with them and of course, eat my favorite food that my parents prepare during mealtimes haha Well, I got the response that I wanted! They said YES! Thank God for my ever-supportive parents!!!

..But unfortunately, today is the last day of vacation haha Time ran so fast that I think everything happened just yesterday. Here’s a glimpse of my mega-unforgettable summer:

Indeed, a summer vacation that I’ll treasure for the rest of my life. Whoohoo Thank you Lord for bringing to places that I’ve never been, for the people I met during my vacay, for the ones that spent it with me, for all the adventure and fun-times, and most especially for the memories that I’ll never forget.

Now, I am definitely ready to face the real world. Bring it on!

GOLDEN BLISS

I am wearing my favorite color today… Yellow!
I really like yellow so much, in fact, most of the things I have are color yellow (80%) and even my room is painted yellow. Any shade of yellow will make me happy :)
After changing my clothes I realized how happy I am today well, prolly, because of my yellow hoodie lol      but I began to dig deeper and ponder as to how I based my happiness.

I believe that happiness is a choice and it is solely dependent upon ourselves. I might not have everything that I want right now but I guess it can’t be measured with how much we have, it is how much we enjoy the moment, that makes us happy. True happiness is to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon the future and to cease from worrying about things which are beyond the power of our will. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.

Yellow hoodie, Penshoppe. Blazer, Oxygen.

MONOCHROM

For this shoot, I was inspired by our New Government Center here in Bacolod City. The first image is actually the floor of the building and its tiles are tiled with black and white which makes the structure looks really cool and classy.
I am a bit hesitant with doing this though coz I personally don't use filters on my blog or even just with the pictures that I use. Oh well, it's time for a change! And I bet it's worth it coz I am well pleased with the result of my experiment haha whatcha think? Please let me know :)
So basically my whole look is just simple black and white ensemble. From my blazer, shirt which looks really similar to the floor lol my black leather pants, and of course a pair of my favorite chucks.

CHILL

“Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer's day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time.”

It’s been a month already since graduation day but still, here I am, unemployed. I know it’s not something to be proud of in fact to some it’s a shame but as for me it’s a choice. Yes! I actually decided not to work for now and I have reasons for that, one is – I need Rest.

For the past years I dedicated all my life to be the best the student in school I even tried to be outstanding in all forms and by God’s grace, I can confidently say, I succeeded!  And because of this, I think I deserve a break :)

But of course I also have plans to work and I am grateful enough that God is giving me countless opportunities for future employment. Am I excited? A big YES! If that day comes I definitely would blog about it :)

Shine Bright!

The earth was formless and empty…and God said, ‘Let there be light’
-Genesis 1:2-3, NIV

Are you believing God for something today that seems impossible? We serve a great and mighty God, and He can create something out of nothing! He can make a way where there seems to be no way! He can create whatever is needed in your life.

Genesis tells us that in the beginning, God created the heavens and earth. But before He spoke the world into existence, it was formless and empty. If God can make the world out of nothing, He can take the empty places in your life and create something beautiful, too! He can speak light into your darkest hour. He can take your formless dreams and give them shape. He can resurrect your dormant gifts and talents! He can make your crooked places straight!

Remember, you are created in the image of Almighty God. There’s power in your words and power when you’re in agreement with Him. Only say what God says about your situation. Speak life to your broken dreams today. Stay in an attitude of faith and expectancy, and as you do, God will take you places that you’ve never dreamed. He’ll make something beautiful out of every broken place in your life!

04.22.14

“It’s My Birthday! It’s a day of celebrating the good memories, experiences, and victories that I had in my lifetime, a Month actually! Hahaha”

“I’m blessed and I know that I am.”

To my Heavenly Father, Lord, Thank you! I just couldn't put into words how grateful I am to you (Speechless). Hallelujah!

I just wanted to take a moment and say 'Thank You' to everyone who had been a part of fabulous journey! I will be forever grateful for our friendship and the relationship that we built together.

To my social media friends (Facebook, twitter, instagram, and etc.) Thank you for all of the birthday wishes. It means a lot to me that you all took the time from your busy lives to wish me a happy birthday, and I feel very blessed to have each and every one of you as my friend.

Travel '14: The City of Zamboanga

The sun is up and shinning so bright! Hooray for a hot summer 2014!
Summer is officially here and I just got mine started. Yeay! My first destination is in ZamboangueƱo Chavacano Ciudad de Zamboanga or simply Zambo!

The City of Zamboanga is a highly urbanized city located in Mindanao, Philippines. Zamboanga City is called “Asia’s Latin City” because of its Spanish-tinged Chabacano dialect – dating back to the earliest foreign occupation of the Philippines in the 1600’s.

One of the greatest feelings I ever had! I could still remember my prayer before bedtime wishing that I can visit the 3-Major Island Groups of the Philippines. Ambitious isn't it? but not really Hahaha I just wanted to go to Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. And Yes!      It all came true :)

I only posted some of the hundreds of photos I took during my trip. Haha! I just love taking random pictures of everything under the sun. Oh well, How I wish I could post all of the photos here. Anyways, the photos above includes the Sunset view of Paseo del Mar, The Historic and Miraculous Real Fuerza de Nuestra SeƱora del Pilar da Zamboanga or simply Fort Pilar, and of course my Food-trip adventure at The famous Family Fried Chicken which serves Satti, Fish balls, squid ball, and all kinds of delicious street foods and lastly, to New Antonios Courty Style-Restaurant.

Mega-Unforgettable! I had a blast during my 3-day stay in this Baeutiful City of Zamboanga. Indeed, It’s more fun in the Philippines!
Come and Visit it now!
