In life, we’re always going to have critics. We’ll always have difficult people who try to upset us and steal our peace and joy. But, you don’t have to respond to every critic. You can decide to take the high road and let God fight your battles for you.

Sometimes, no matter what you say or do, some people aren’t going to accept you. They just don’t want to be at peace with you. In fact, when Jesus sent out His disciples to certain homes, He told them to always speak peace over those homes. And then He said in effect, “If they don’t receive the peace that you’re offering, then it will come back to you.” That tells me that if you will do your best to be at peace with people, even if they won’t take your peace, that peace will just come back to you. You’ll not only get your peace, but you’ll get their share as well! That’s double for your trouble! When you do the right thing no matter what is happening, God sees it and rewards it.

GOLDEN BLISS

I am wearing my favorite color today… Yellow!

I really like yellow so much, in fact, most of the things I have are color yellow (80%) and even my room is painted yellow. Any shade of yellow will make me happy :)

After changing my clothes I realized how happy I am today well, prolly, because of my yellow hoodie lol      but I began to dig deeper and ponder as to how I based my happiness.

I believe that happiness is a choice and it is solely dependent upon ourselves. I might not have everything that I want right now but I guess it can’t be measured with how much we have, it is how much we enjoy the moment, that makes us happy. True happiness is to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon the future and to cease from worrying about things which are beyond the power of our will. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.

MONOCHROM

For this shoot, I was inspired by our New Government Center here in Bacolod City. The first image is actually the floor of the building and its tiles are tiled with black and white which makes the structure looks really cool and classy. 

I am a bit hesitant with doing this though coz I personally don't use filters on my blog or even just with the pictures that I use. Oh well, it's time for a change! And I bet it's worth it coz I am well pleased with the result of my experiment haha whatcha think? Please let me know :)

So basically my whole look is just simple black and white ensemble. From my blazer, shirt which looks really similar to the floor lol my black leather pants, and of course a pair of my favorite chucks.

 It’s been a month already since graduation day but still, here I am, unemployed. I know it’s not something to be proud of in fact to some it’s a shame but as for me it’s a choice. Yes! I actually decided not to work for now and I have reasons for that, one is – I need Rest.

For the past years I dedicated all my life to be the best the student in school I even tried to be outstanding in all forms and by God’s grace, I can confidently say, I succeeded!  And because of this, I think I deserve a break :)

But of course I also have plans to work and I am grateful enough that God is giving me countless opportunities for future employment. Am I excited? A big YES! If that day comes I definitely would blog about it :) 

Greenified: A cool summer

Hey guys! Summer is finally here. The most awaited season for all students especially here in the Philippines. To officially jump-start my Summer'14 our family went-up to Campuestohan Highlands to have "a perfect gateway like no other." I'm really inlove with this place! It's like anywhere you stand is a picturesque spot and all that your eyes can reach is a perfect view. Landscaped gardens filled with beautiful plants and flowers, most of them are wild and can only thrive in high-altitude areas, line the side of the resort adding to its already bewitching beauty.

So for this escaped I decided to wear something fresh and comfy. I say YES to Green! Green is the color of nature. It symbolizes freshness, and It is considered to be the most restful color for the human eye. For today, I wore a green button-down polo and green tailored shorts both from H&M. Exploring the entire length of Campuestohan Highland Resort is truly an exhilarating and invigorating experience. I'll definitely be back! WITH FLORALS

Hey guys! Whats up? I'm really sorry that it took me two weeks to blog again lol

I've been really busy lately with all my exams, school requirements, thesis making and defense, but what consumes my time the most is creating/making our Yearbook! I decided to be a part of the editorial board of the "Torchbearer" (Official Yearbook of WNU) since I wanted to do something great before I graduate. 

Today was our yearbook pictorial and we were required to wear our Barong with Sablay, Internship Uniform and Casual Wear. Yes! We had to change 3-times with a limited time. Imagine how chaotic the situations was lol But it was fun though coz I felt like I was a model where I have to make a quick change and wait to be called by a photographer for my photoshoot lol

So this is what I wore earlier today for my Casual Wear. Whatcha think? I just wanted to look fresh and vibrant! Hahaha 

 Fresh in a sense that my blazer has a floral print

 And vibrant because of daringly red pants and shoes.

I hope you guys like it as much as I did! Although I only had a limited time of  choosing what to wear and a hard time styling myself Haha I guess have to step-out of my comfort zone and jump into the world of colors and prints (including florals?) HAHA Thanks guys :)

Hello, Season of Love! It's February my dear friends. It's the time of the year where we see couples everywhere, red roses, and chocolates. For some, we consider this month as "The Single Awareness Month" lol Anyways, despite my singlehood I still am in-love. I'm in-love with my family, my friends, and my Savior. Wait. Did I just forgot to mention someone? hmmm.. Oh! Myself. HAHA

Can I just shift to another topic? lol Enough with all the love stories. I think I'd be more in inspired to blog if i'll talk about my Feb-highlights. HAHA Well, I received a prestigious award from my University, The Wesnecan's Choice Awards. I got nominated for being an outstanding achiever because of my unwavering leadership, service and loyalty to West Negros University.

I had a bow tie, a statement belt, and a pair of boots. All in the same shade, Yeah! it's color Coordinated :)

I just love the feeling of being appreciated. I thank the University (which is under a new administration), all the faculty and staffs, my advisers, and my classmates for all the Love and Support. Also, my parents for being present during the event to show how proud they are for me with all the things I achieved. Lastly, To my Heavenly Father for all the opportunities, blessings, and overflowing grace that He bestowed upon me.

GO HARD OR GO HOME

Hey guys! How y'all doing? I hope that all of you are doing great this 2014. Hooray for a new year! A new opportunity for us to grow, mature, and change whatever negative things about us. Woot! woot! I know it's kinda late but I think it's still appropriate for me to greet everyone a Happy New Year because today we are actually celebrating the Chinese New Year. Haha Better late than never, lol!

This year I promised myself to be Bolder, Braver, and Brighter! Yeah it's BBB so that I wont easily forget it. And this 2014 I'm only giving myself two options: GO HARD OR GO HOME. In google it means "To go all out at what ever you are doing at that time and if you don't you might as well pack it up and head home".  

Since I want to go HARD this year I decided to wear something HARDcore! Haha I styled myself to look Rock n' Roll and Bad Boy inspired like Robin Padilla (I guess there's no one else that can pull a leather jacket more than he does). lol I bet y'all agree with me.

  

On this look I wore a Black Leather Jacket, White Button-down Shirt, Lace Top, Leather Pants, and Leather Boots. 

      And to complete my look I wore my Wayfarer sunglasses by Ray Ban.
